Long story short, back in August 2021 someone pirated my story and, while I got it taken down pretty fast, it was still fairly demoralizing and made me hesitant to continue posting this story for free. Definitely a case of 'one person ruining it for everyone.'

Between these two stories, I've spent over a 6,000 hours, which would be equivalent to 3 years of 40 hours per week. I'm sure you could imagine what it would be like to put so much work into something, only for someone to try to steal it.
And keep in mind, this is the exact reason why most Lit writers end up taking down their chapters when they go to publish.

And if not, then I'll likely continue to post on here, although my release schedule is up in the air right now. I'm not sure how frequently I'll be posting. Might be every week again, or it might be once a month. After what happened, I'm kind of easing back into it (I still post weekly on my Patreon).
