I'm a recovering university professor. Now that I no longer need to plough through student essays by the hundreds, I can have more fun writing erotic stories. I'm still polishing my craft, and hope one day to be able to write like some of the best practitioners of the genre – the ones who spend time creating complex and believable characters to have erotic adventures.

My stories fall into three threads. The first revolves around the sex slaves provided by Theo's BDSM Slave Service. Any story of mine tagged non-con is likely to be from this series.

Sometimes I've had friendly disagreements with the editors of Literotica over their policy that victims of non-con sex, aka rape, should be depicted as getting at least some pleasure from it. Personally, I think that just perpetuates the "She really enjoyed it at heart" trope that fuels rape culture. So far, these differences of opinion have generally been resolved amicably (usually by my giving in, or at least finding a compromise).

Lately, I have gotten really tired of non-con, and have (I think) pretty much exhausted the possibilities of the Theo series, so I more or less killed it with the story "Escape from Theo's" and started the Kendra and Kev series with "Kendra Fulfills Some Fantasies." It's much more consensual and even romantic in its sado-masochistic way, and I feel more comfortable writing in this sub-genre of erotica. My readers seem to like it better too.

I've just published a side-story to this series featuring Allyson, who was introduced in "Kendra at the Beach." I created her to get some consensual pain play into the series without messing up Kendra's character, given that I have made it clear that she's not that kind of girl. Allyson may take off on her own as a spin-off series – we'll see.

Finally, there's the most recent series featuring Lila, a Freeuse Slave, who inhabits an alternative reality in which people who love sex, pain and bondage can consensually contract themselves out as short-term sex slaves. I've had fun with this, but it might be coming to the end of its possibilities too. We'll see.

And then there's a handful of free-standing one-off stories: Pussy Island, Progressive Prison, Debbie and Me, Landlord Voyeur. They were a lot of fun to write (and, I hope, to read), but don't seem to be calling for sequels.
