So Thankful to Him
He's been a calm in my storm,
Understands what I've endured.
He's generous and he's kind,
My thanks to him are assured.
He's had tough times in life too,
So kindred spirits we are.
It's hard to thank him enough,
For building my dignity.
His gifts allow extra time,
Needed to restore my soul.
From years of abuse I heal,
Now progress isn't as slow.
Now at this time of my life,
I give my thanks and reflect.
