Pulling out, he grinned down at her. "Was that what you wanted?"

Looking back, she gave him a wicked grin. "Not nearly enough. Let's hit the shower and scrub that thing off."

A few minutes later, in the shower, he stood under the streaming jets from the ceiling as she knelt in front of him. Using a rag and a hefty dose of soap, she lathered his dick, teasing and pulling, massaging his balls. When she was satisfied, she let the water rinse him off, before slipping her mouth over the tip. He put his hands on the other side of the wall and shielded her from the water as she worked. Up and down she moved her mouth, taking him in over and over again. Sucking kisses up the base, running her tongue around him in circles, flexing and twitching her tongue as she sucked, she drove him to madness before he exploded in her mouth. Wiping her lips, she looked up.

Their eyes met in the steam of the shower, and something passed between their gaze. "You know I love you the most, right." She whispered.

He brushed his thumb over her cheek. "This I know. I see you, I know you."

Standing up, she wrapped her arms around his neck. "You are the most wonderful man I've ever met. Don't ever change." She cuddled her head under his chin. "Don't ever leave me, I need you."

"Why would I ever leave you?" He blinked down, wrapping his arms around her and squeezing her tight.

"Because I can't keep my legs to myself?" She laughed. "More so, when you... when I out live you, I will find a way to keep you somehow."

"Elunara... my love... whatever can you mean?"

"I can control spirits." She held open her hands. "I've learned how to take a spirit and guide it to the nether. Maybe... maybe I could bind it to myself instead."

"But, what then?" He rubbed his chin on her head. "What would you do with me then? A spirit trapped at your whim?"

"I would find you a new body. I can do that. War never ends, it only changes faces. If I could find you a new body, an empty vessel, would you stay with me then?"

Grogek was silent. He stared at the wall through the steam in the bath.

"Grogek?" She looked up at him, biting her lip.

"I would do it." This time it was his cheek he rubbed against her hair. "If I could take on a new body, I would allow you to hold on to my spirit until then."

Elunara let out the breath she was holding. "Oh, thank you, my love. Thank you." She held tight to him as tears streamed down her face.

"Would you offer this to our family?" He peered into her eyes.

"Everyone. Every one of our family that is willing, I would take them with me, wherever we may go."

---

Elunara made her way down to Tippy's, a board slung over her shoulder.

"Oy, what'll it be today, carrot cake, or a meal?" Tippy gestured to a table.

"I just came by to check on my newest rescue, though I wouldn't mind a slice of cake for the road."

"Well, you just missed her. She and that Ryan boy were headed to the library." Enalla came out of the back room and placed a small package on the counter. Tippy passed it over to Elunara. "You might want to check on the girl a little more often. She's locked herself in that room entirely too much for her own good."

"I figured as much." She took the package. "Thanks."

Making her way through town, she followed the path most likely to take her to her current project. At the library, she found Katie and Ryan shoulder to shoulder putting books on the shelf. Elunara's lip twitched, and she watched the pair. Ryan was deep in fantasy land, and Katie was obliviously going on about romance novels. Elunara was fairly certain Ryan hadn't heard a damned word. There was a romance novel Elunara wouldn't mind reading.

Katie glanced back and jolted. "Elunara! You startled me!"

Ryan blinked at Katie for a moment before looking back as well. He had the dignity to look sheepish. "Elunara."

"Tippy said you two went this way. I have a gift."

Katie cocked her head to the side and reached for the little box in Elunara's hand.

"No, not my cake." Elunara slung the board off her back and held it out by the straps. "I brought you a board, so you can sit outside and write, instead of locking yourself in your room all day and night."

"Oh!" Katie took the board and turned it back and forth.

"There's a strap so you can hang it on your back, it has a place to secure your papers and pencils, and it folds down for easy storage. Sit by the yard and write, you can get some... fascinating ideas." She winked

"Oh, my." Katie felt the heat rush to her face. "Thank you, you're always so nice."

"Besides, when you write your characters, you'll do better if you have a frame of reference. Find a face, and use him for your hero, find another and use him for your opposition, etc. etc."

Katie slung the board over her shoulder. "Thank you again." Clasping her hands down, she bowed.

"No need to bow. In any event, I thought this would get you out of that dark room more often, while still allowing you to do what I'm paying for."

"Do you have any other advice?"

"Notes. Take lots of notes. I know you've been reading, which is good, but note down observations, ideas, plot points. Think of random useless stuff, like maybe your lead female likes a particular type of tea. When you need something to move the story along, you can add that in, or maybe when you add in something useless, when you edit, that could be the thing to take out."

"I've never thought of that..." Katie murmured.

"Come with me, I know a place that sells bound blank journals, let's get you a couple of pretty ones for you to fill out."

Afterwards, Katie held two journals to her chest. "Thank you both! Ryan, you're so sweet to buy me one too."

He blushed and rubbed the back of his head. "Well, I just want to help." He finished lamely.

"I do have a few pages I've written some things on; do you want to see?" Katie bit her lip as she looked up at Elunara.

"Write me a scene. Think of it front to back, back to front, fiddle with it, and then give it to me. I want six pages, at least, before you give it to me. If you get on a roll and things seem to be working out, then don't worry about the page limit, just write. But I want at least six."

"Yes, Ma'am."

"Now, if you'll excuse me, I want to eat my cake in peace before my next appointment."

Watching Elunara walk away, Ryan licked his lips. Turning back to Katie, he blushed. "I'll walk you down to the training yard."

"You're so sweet." She smiled. "I can't wait to get started, I have an idea in mind. I hope it makes her happy."

"Well, shouldn't it make you happy first?"

"I guess..."

---

Elunara made her way back to the house and eyed the half-opened door. With caution, she crept open to the door, her muscles bunched tight, a leopard about to pounce. The sound of weeping halted her aggravation in its tracks. She recognized that sound. Pushing open the door the rest of the way, she stepped in and dropped her cake on the counter.

"Lulu?"

Lulu was curled up on the couch, her face buried in her skirts.

"Lulu, sweetheart, what happened?"

"William!" She wailed.

Alarm shot through Elunara's body. "What happened to William?!"

"No! William is a big jerk!" Lulu swiped at the tears on her face.

Elunara was at her side in an instant, wrapping her arms around her precious child. "Tell me what happened."

After a watery explanation of the first encounter, she coughed. "And then he tries to take my hand, saying he was only thinking about what was BEST for me!"

It was only training that kept Elunara from gawking open mouthed at her weeping daughter. "You have got to be kidding me."

"Why would I?" Lulu sniffled and buried her face into Elunara's chest. "How could he think I'd throw Nara over like that? How could he say such a thing?"

For the first time in more years that she cared to count, Elunara was rendered completely speechless. "I... That... I can't even begin to comprehend what was going through his mind."

"My brother." She muttered. "He's my stupid brother. Now I have to see him every day in training, in two separate trainings, and I just don't want to any more. What he said to me... I just... Momma, I'm not like you."

"Like me?"

"I can't love more than one person. I don't have the energy, I don't have that big of a heart."

"Oh, Lulu. No one is asking you to. This is completely absurd. William should have known better. He was raised better. His own parents are so devoted to each other it is silly."

"What do I do, Momma?"

Biting her lip, Elunara considered the structure of Lulu's day. "Avoiding him completely is out of the question, he's too much entrenched in your life. Confronting him isn't quite your style, though it's probably the best option. I don't think you should hide this from Nara, but he's going to fly off the handle."

"Oh, Gods. I can't tell Nara. He'll flip!"

Elunara gentled her voice. "You cannot hide this. I raised you better. Honesty. You know the family rules."

"How could I forget?" Lulu sighed. "But, how? How do I keep him from killing William?"

"Mostly, blocking the door so he can't escape."

"Momma, this is serious! Nara almost killed William over looking like the boy that tried to kidnap me, if he finds out..."

"Finds out what?" Nara was standing in the doorway. "I went home, but you weren't there." He stepped inside and closed the door behind him. "I ran into Abigail, but she said you hadn't shown up for mage training today, so I got worried. I knew here would be the first place you might go."

"Oh. I'm sorry. I should have..."

"What don't you want me to know?" He stooped down in front of her and took her hand. "Lulu, I love you, and anything that is wrong, we can work it out. I know you've been so frazzled about this magic thing... but, we'll make it work, I promise."

"Well..."

"Tell him Lulu. You need to."

"William was just such a jerk to me today." She sniffled. "He... he suggested I leave you. That I shouldn't bother with warlock training or you at all."

Nara's mouth dropped open. "What?"

Lulu nodded, her moves jerky and stunted. "That I should look at him instead... because our powers are the same."

Regaining his composure, Nara began to shake. "That stupid son of a—"

"Nara!" She gasped, clinging to his hand. "Please, don't do anything."

"You are my WIFE! If he can't get that through his thick skull, I'll..."

"Do nothing."

"Lulu!" Insult was evident in his face. "He insults us both, that cannot stand!"

Lulu's blonde curls bounced as she shook her head. "Let me talk to him. I have to figure this out. He is my brother. My misguided brother. Surely, he couldn't be so thick. Surely, I misunderstood him."

"Fine." Nara grit through his teeth. "But if he hits on you again..."

---

After the pair left, Elunara made her way to Gerald's house. When he opened the door, she frowned. "Is William home?"

Chrissy shook her head. "No, why?"

"Can I come in? I need to speak to you both."

Tried something new

Hello readers!

I tried something completely out of my range, I hope I didn't screw it up. If I did, let me know, I'm always experimenting.

Secondly, I get a lot of comments asking for longer stories. In the past I try to keep my storied to 7-8 pages. From now on I'll try 14+ pages. Because of my writing style and how I hop around story line wise, this is the best I could do without confusing myself. I hope this is better.

Much love.
