Click here"For fuck's sake," Olivia shook her head. "Haven't they told you anything about what happened to Papa and Zio, as well as your husband in the last few days?" Olivia gave an exasperated eye roll.
"Words, words, words! Everyone has some story, and all I know is what I know in my life," Jessa argued back. "This isn't some fairy tale where the frog prince comes in and saves us Olivia. This is reality, and in the real world, we do as we are told, or we get punished. The end."
"Fine you want proof I have proof," she raised her voice and called. "Genesis, Vivienne?" Between the two of them, there should be enough video and emailed documents on their phones to prove everything she was about to tell her sister was true.
As Olivia told her story, Genesis also gathered one of the Farnese into the conversation to speak about the consequences Jessa's husband faced for his part in the whole sad saga of their lives. It took much longer than expected. They were barely close to the end of the tale when the boys returned still quiet and solemn as they walked into the hospital room followed by the two men who had taken them out.
"You will bring them back tomorrow?" Jessa asked Auro.
"Yes, Ma'am," Auro responded. "They will be safe until you see them again, I promise."
Jessa finally let them go, and the others left Olivia alone with her oldest sister again.
"Please, Liv, I can't handle any more revelations tonight," she held up a hand.
"Fine, but we will be leaving in the morning. When I say we, that includes Marcella. She will go with us now that she has done all she can for you. Just know that if you need her again, all you have to do is pick up a phone and she will be here," Olivia lectured. "Have a nice life, Jessa. I hope you change your mind about having sisters, for the boys sake if for no other reason. They have their whole lives ahead of them free of violence and anger, if only you will let them take the opportunities the Farnese family will offer you and them. If you go home to Perth and the woman who allowed our abuse without trying to protect us, then you're a fool.
This story makes me cry. Marcella and Olive are being treated as property and somehow you try to make it look/feel romantic. All the Tableman have the idea that they are the reason why their wife is happy and safe, but you went to far. It’s good that their will be no new Table story line because I am afraid what the man would be like.
I agree with some comments below. Noah doesn’t care about Marcella, he only cares about his own feelings and views. You are an excellent writer, you always come up with unexpected twists, you’re characters come to live but why do the women in you’re story always need to bow for the men in their lives? Marcella has a great character, she is strong, empathic, smart and funny why is that not enough? In real life she would never look at Noah twice because of his caveman behavior, why can’t she just find a guy that loves her unconditionally and doesn’t want to change her?
That Olivia has to beg for a chance to talk to her sister alone, that is abuse. That Noah only thinks about what is best for him, and does not care about what Marcella wants and needs, that is abuse. That nobody asks Marcella why she made she’s decisions, that is neglect.
Sorry, but you lost me with this storyline. When this story would be realistic, Marcella would never be happy with Noah. He does not love her for who she is, but for who he want her to be. Her soul would die when she stays with him because her wings would be broken
Let Marcella go. Noah is worse than her father, because he told Marcella that he loved her before hurting her. Why is there nobody who really wants the best for Marcella without trying to change her into something that fits their ego. This Storyline makes me sad because abuse is seen as something beautiful. Olivia has to beg for a chance to talk to her sister in private, how wrong is that?
I am so invested in this story. Time and time again you impress us with your writing skills. It’s truly unlike any other here and I can’t thank you enough!
Keep writing as much as you can but make sure you do it for you and you enjoy it. Us readers are more than happy when we see you’ve uploaded anything new. Can’t wait to read more!! I hope it has a few more chapters left in it. I’m not ready for the table world to end :(
