Click hereCandy and her mother finally saw the humor. I swore before God, that if I live to be a hundred, every time I sat at this table I would remember this meal.
Candy came to what was now our bed. I made love to her, it wasn't the spontaneous sex like the night before. We took our time. She touched parts of my soul that had never been used before. I worshiped her with a passion that I'd never shown to anyone else. The banging headboard from the next room was hardly noticed.
The next morning when the cab arrived, we said our goodbyes to Ben and Cynthia. I made a promise to Ben to have a fresh stack of DVDs for their Christmas visit.
It had been one hell of an interesting week. I missed out on some of the football I had planned on. But, I did get an unexpected dividend, a sweet tooth. Yes that's what I said. A sweet tooth only Candy can satisfy.
Anonymous is wrong. Love can happen quickly. I figured out I was in love with my wife during our second date. Of course we attended the same church for years. Still we were no more than acquaintances since she was 2 years and 4 months older than me. We traveled in different groups at church. I finally ask her out after another young lady at church. We married 6 and a half month after our first date almost 48 years ago.
I was already iffy after the guy took VICODIN for a bloody hangover (seriously??) and then the whole "feel guilty for masturbating about Candy" bit was just pathetic. Fantasy's are in your head.
Three things I would have liked in this story:
- An interaction around how she was always bi, and he was just misinformed. That's very plausible, and changing orientation is not.
- A build up from lust to love. He lusted after her, which is not love. The story just jumped from 'she's hot' to 'I'm in love'. If the story is too short to make that transition, then leave it at 'falling in love' and 'infatuation'. Love take time.
- More pacing in general. The whole story feels a little bit rushed, which can work for a 'whirlwind romance' but in that case try to make it more visceral and immersive, I think.
I enjoyed it a lot anyhow, of course. Fun story with a nice ending.
(I promise I'm not actually anon - just forgot my password and not recovering it until I'm at my PC)
