I might be the only one, but one thing that keeps constantly distracting me is the excessive use of the words "groan" and "grin". It feels like every action or thing the characters do or say is accompanied by either of those 2 words, which I don't think is necessary. Other than that, it was a pretty good chapter with great build up for what's to come.
