They had decided that children would have to wait until Jill was finished with school, but when they actually started trying to have children, they found that it wasn't as easy as they thought it would be. Jill's internal female parts didn't cooperate, and after a bunch of tests and some surgery for endometriosis, they finally realized that children just weren't going to happen for them.
They concluded that it would have to be OK, though, and they were still completely in love with each other and comfortable just living together without any extra mouths to feed. However, Jill was always just a little sad that she had waited too long to have children. Sex has always been a big part of their relationship, and continues until now.
It makes Jill smile every time she remembers that time when they studied in Jack's room and things got carried away.
