Well done. Five big ones.

Tough story, well told. The ending is probably realistic - it must be hard to move on to a normal live having seen and done things so brutal and vicious. Well done

Reminds me of early Elmore Leonard shorts. Good stuff. I hope you like it enough to pen some more in the genre. Thanks very much.

Told as well as any Louis L'Amour stories. I could see Tom Selleck acting this story, oh he did that as Quigley.... I sure enjoyed a good yarn and this is as good as it gets....

The author continues to grow in his writing. He deserves every 5 he gets. Well done mate!

I am a stickler for law and justice and usually abhor vigilante actions.

I am also a realist, and when there there is no honest justice then as the Good Book says: "If anyone injures his fellow citizen, he shall have the same thing done to him as he has done: fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. As he injured that other person, the same is to be done to him."

At that time it was expected that members of the the injured/killed would mete out the punishment.

I do wish the author had not had the main characters think of themselves as murderers. I observed no murders. As the title indicates, I only saw justice. The corrupt sheriff and corrupt judge deserved the same fate as "Boss"

Finally, if evil is not permanently removed, it will just infect more and more people.

Very nice story but the ending was a little weak. It felt like the story just petered out...

A well told story. Not sure why the author decided to keep Sarah and Jake apart just because they had the fortitude to do what was right and remove some scum from the world? Even if it reminded them of their past, I don't see that as a big deal. Oh well, it's a good western story and well done.

That kind of justice is still alive and well today....though not nearly as frequent as it should be. Today's legal system is a joke. The "have's" own it and the "have nots" are mostly just victims. Laws should be respected and followed not changed or used to someone's benefit. I for one will never put my faith in the legal system of today. There is no above the law in my book. You mess with myself or my relations and no amount of money or influence will save you from justice. Best just keep screwing the cattle, if you fuck with this wolf you will permanently regret it.

Like many of the western movies of yesteryear the hero doesn’t get the girl and he rides off into the sunset with the background music playing My Rifle, My Pony and Me!! Always kinda felt sorry for the guy but loved the show!!

Fantastic story. Frontier justice was the only type that was required. Sometimes wish it could still be used.
