Awesome fight! The beginning completely lost me though, I don't understand what happened with the vision at all.
Brilliant. As Robbb says an awesome fight. Will they be able to work out who or what he was?
Too short. Good Cliff hanger. Now to kill off the rest of the army, now that it no longer has a master.
As seems to be the trend since the beginning, more questions than answers. Is that blade some kind of super-powerful artifact that makes it easy to get through barriers? Who was the "apex" dude exactly and why bother attacking? Who were these 2 new people exactly? Absolutum dissolutum kills-anything spell just coming out of nowhere and it can potentially kill even Kai? (Speculation of course, can't trust anything Miriam says these days, she's wrong a hell of a lot when it comes to these things). Overall I'm left feeling like Kai was portrayed as rather weak and small in this chapter except at the end where he started to regain some of the "demigod status" that we've come to see since his rebirth. Anyway as always I'm hooked and I'm enjoying the series. :)

A valid synonym for sincerely is the word 'truly' (as well as 'seriously' and even just 'really').
"I could sincerely sense..."
"I could 'truly' sense..."
"I could 'really' sense..."
Also:
"Sincere terror in her expression..."
"Genuine terror in her expression..."

The word sincerely is being used correctly in all instances.
